PUPPY!!!!!

It's been a rough two weeks here at work, and just as I thought I was reaching my breaking point, along came a puppy to make everything else seem irrelevant. Laughter may be the best medicine, but I think puppies are a very close second. A friend of a lady here had a litter of puppies, so another coworker took one of them as a gift for his wife. The puppy is unnamed at the moment, but she's 6 weeks old, and is a mix between a Jack Russell and a Yorkshire Terrier. She supposedly won't get much bigger than she is now, which pretty much makes her the cutest thing ever. Nothing like a puppy for what ails ya!

Bug Me Not

Bugs are gross, but these made for great pictures. Madagascar hissing cockroaches on the left, and a bazillion lady bugs on the right. Thanks to my buddy for lending me his 50mm f/1.8.

Strike a Pose

One of the best things about taking pictures is taking silly ones. My sister visited this weekend, and we came across an art exhibit in Golden Gate Park before finding the sculptures by the de Young Museum. Naturally, we made each other pose for funny shots, because that's what sisters do.
