Nice, France - Day 1

Almost 11.5 years later, I've made my return to Nice, France. The summer before senior year of high school, I went on a two week chaperoned trip throughout France, which included both Nice, France and Monte Carlo, Monaco. I have only a few memories of these two locations, with just my pictures to help me recollect. Unfortunately, those are home in LA, so I didn't have much to go on.

Arriving early in the afternoon, Christine and I managed to drag ourselves out of the hotel room and do some early exploring. For the most part, we walked along the Promenade des Anglais and enjoyed the sunset, then wandered around to find dinner. We came across this storefront, which made me smile:
